Jodhpur lies in the Thar Desert, the city of Jodhpur
was once the capital of the Marwar state. Rao Jodha-chief

Umaid Bhawan Palace is also known as Chittar Palace.
the foundation of this Palace was laid by Maharaja Umed
Singh. Made on the Chittar Hills, this palace took 16
years and one crore twenty one lac rupees for completion.
this building was costructed without using any mortar
or cement to bind stones together, all pieces were carved
stones joined together by interlacing.
It was one of the royal constructions, built to provide
work for poor villagers.
Today it has 3 functional parts, one having a five-star
hotel, one is the residence of the royal family and
one has been opened for public where a museum displays
pictures, arms, swords, and other things used by the
royalties.
Guda Bishnoi Village is located at a distance of 25
kilometers from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Khejri tree
groves, deer herds, peacocks and migratory birds make
it a serene location.
The Bishnois derive their name from bish, which means
twenty, and noi, which means nine, and they are believed
to be the pioneers of the green movement in the world
Ranakpur is one of the five most important pilgrimage
sites of Jainism. It is an abode to the beautiful temple
compound in the Aravali ranges. It is one of the frequently
visited places in Rajasthan. It is situated around 60
km north of Udaipur in Pali.
Ranakpur is named after Rana Kumbha to whom a Jain businessman,
approached to ask for the land for the temple construction.
It is renowned for some splendidly carved Jain temples
in amber stone. Located at a distance of around 60 km
from Udaipur, these temples were constructed in the
AD 1439.
